Work normally starts with the preparation of a business case, leading to feasibility studies and an agreement of a business plan. The key activities of agreeing the project brief and preparing the project plan and cost plan then follow. In parallel, we can take a lead in selecting the other members of the project team.
During the implementation phase we actively manage the input of all of the consultants and contractors to ensure the co-ordinated delivery in line with client expectations.
Key to the successful outcome is good and effective communication. Our PM's will establish a robust communication plan between all the parties and will ensure the exchange of information through verbal and written forms, in a structured manner, thus capturing all of the vital decisions required for a successful project delivery.
Throughout the process good communication – in every direction – is one of the most important prerequisites for a successful outcome. Effective contract management and cost control are also critical.
